La proposta nasce dalla consapevolezza che Bari, per giacitura, vocazione, rango e ruolo, fa riferimento a diverse dimensioni dell’area vasta – transnazionali, regionali, metropolitane – ma che, dal punto di vista urbano e spaziale rappresenta, per l’area geografica in cui si inserisce, un ambito territoriale denso nel quale si consumano la massima parte delle relazioni ambientali, sociali, insediative, di flussi e di mobilità.

In 1949 this aluminum construction won a Ministry of Education competition for “mass-producible rural school with classroom and teacher accommodation”: a masterpiece of nomadic housing, followed the portico principle patented by Prouvé in 1939.

Nachhaltiger Umgang mit den Ressourcen dargestellt anhand typischer Mittelgebirgslandschaften – das ist die Kurzform des Ausstellungsbeitrages des Landes NRW zu der niederländischen Gartenschau. Die 2.450 qm große Ausstellungsfläche liegt an einem zentralen Platz in der Parzelle „Environment“.
